Grafton Rose Bed & Breakfast is a federation house built in 1902 by the Thompson family. At the time of construction it was surrounded by a turkey farm. Though the turkeys are long gone, the early atmosphere still exists within Grafton Rose house.
This gracious Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Warwick is close to the CBD, parks, restaurants, 3 bowls clubs, golf club, polocrosse, rodeo grounds, Morgan Park and many historical sites including Glengallen Homestead, Pringle Cottage, the Court House and the Police Station.
Wander around Grafton Rose’s English style cottage gardens, smell the roses and admire some of Australia’s unusual plants, or maybe you prefer to curl up with a book from our library.
Grafton House has been lovingly restored with antiques and pieces of art that Deborah and Ross have collected over the years. Enjoy the balmy summer evenings on the wide front veranda or on the back deck. The house is air conditioned for the summer months and a wood fire burns during winter. Enjoy sipping port or your favourite drink while watching the embers glow in the fire place. Modern facilities including television, CD player and DVD with many titles to choose from are available in the formal lounge room for your entertainment.
